RRHAO General
Information
Mission Statement:
The Rural Rental Housing Association of Oklahoma was
incorporated on the 12th day of April, 1985, to promote the common goal
of improving the lifestyle of the rural residents of the State of Oklahoma.
This goal was shared with the Farmers Home Administration, now recognized
as Rural Development. The common goal was to provide safe and affordable
housing to the residents of this State.
Goals:
- Conduct training workshops in the professional management
and operation of Rural Rental Housing for Association members.
- Provide periodic newsletters for Association members.
- Sponsor and study legislation and regulations governing
the financing and operation of Rural Rental Housing to protect the interests
of Association members.
- Promote professionalism within the Rural Rental Housing
Industry.
- Utilize the Association as a means of constructive
communication with Farmers Home Administration--Rural Development.
- Promote and Cooperate in research directed toward
increased efficiency and lower costs in the operation of Rural Rental
Housing.
- Cooperate with the Farmers Home Administration--Rural
Development and any other Governmental agency that may provide technical
service and/or guidance in the successful or improved operation of Rural
Rental Housing.
- Standardize methods and procedures.
- Promote ethical practices among Association members.
Becoming
an RRHAO Member:
| Membership fees for apartment projects: |
For projects with 10 units or less -

$25 per year
|
For projects with 11 units or more -
|
$2.50 per unit per year
|
| Membership fees for Associate Members: |
$100 per year
|
